1:00 till 2:00 Trails and Rails
You might know that a group called Trails & Rails would be doing a Cowboy and a Train Song or
two! But with their greatly expanded repertoire, you will also hear 30s-40s Swing, early 'pop'
songs- even a classical piece you'll recognize in the first 4 notes! The award-winning Harmony
Duo of Walt Richards and Paula Strong has been joined this past year by Walt's early band-mate, Mike Craig. Now back together, they bring all that stringed-instrument experience to the benefit of audiences everywhere in the form of some astonishing Banjo-Bass instrumentals that one just has
to see to believe ! Drawing from an extensive song list, you never know what's coming next.

"Lacemaking: The art of making delicate fabric from fine threads, coming together to form something unique and beautiful.” The three ladies of The Lacemakers do just that with their blend of Celtic, Appalachian, and bluegrass sounds and sensibilities. 3:00 till 4:00 Sara Petite
Sara Petite makes her home in San Diego and has grown quite a following, not just locally but worldwide. With the
release of her new CD Doghouse Rose, she hopes to expand on the notoriety she earned with her first two CDs,
Tiger Mountain and Lead the Parade. With the new release coming on the heels of being named “Best Americana
or Country” in the 2009 San Diego Music Awards, Petite stands to go from up-and-coming artist to an artist that has arrived on an international level. Every song tells a story, and she shares many of them in between songs. Like the bluegrass ditty Little House, which she tells the inspiration she drew from her visit to Paris, and the small home she shared while there. Bootleggers tells of running moonshine with her sister on Tiger Mountain, which is not only the
title of her first CD, but also the emotional home of her family in Washington state.
